My Life History
by Joreel L. Montilla
Have you ever wondered what life is
really like for someone like me?
My
life is like a colorwheel, it has many colors that bears exciting and
remarkable meanings. I was born on June 19, 1989 in a simple yet faithful
family. My father is a fisherman and my mother is a plain housewife.
Since
I was a kid, there are lot of hardships I encountered along the way. In my
elementary days, during classes I woke up early in the morning to arrive on time
in school, I started to walk with my mother for we are living quite far away
from the school but despite of all the sacrifices of my mother, I graduated as
a consistent honor student. I am very glad looking at my mother’s face that is
so proud of me.
When
I enter high school life because of our financial crisis, at a young age I work
as a delivery boy of softdrinks and beers during summer in order to buy
notebooks and uniforms, sometimes I worked as on call gardener of my school
teacher in their house inorder to survive for my studies. For me it is a great challenge
and that sacrifices was being paid because in every recognition day my mother
always pin a ribbon in my polo and that marks a biggest achievement in my life
and make my family proud.
As
I enter college life in SSPSC last 2007 twelve years ago, in my first semester
in second year I decided to stop because my mother got serious illness. I went
to Cebu, Manila and in any other places just to find a job to get more income
to be able to sustain the needs for my mother’s health. But despite all those
trials and heartaches still I am thankful to God and blessed for my mother’s
recovery.
My
life has so many to tell, but I will make it short for I cant help hold my tears
from falling down. Presently I am residing at purok 4A bucac, bayugan city. I
have one handsome son and one beautiful and supportive wife whom I loved them
the most and who also serves as my inspiration in making all my dreams to come
true. I am currently enrolled at Agusan del Sur College taking up the course of
Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. It is one of my aspiration
that someday I will become a good teacher.
The
memories I have gained and experienced in my life will never be erased in my
mind and be treasured forever until I die.
